Swissmetro

Recently I was wondering what happened to the Swissmetro project, so I googled around, and it turns out, the project still exists. They are looking for investors, and building a test tunnel this year. Swissmetro trains will be magnetically levitating and will whiz through underground vacuum tunnels at 500 km/h. You could get from Zurich to Bern in 12 minutes (compared to 57 min with SBB).
